Hello. I just started learning about Samba and I am having exactly same problem that you encounter with IPC$ thing. I was wondering were you able to find any solution. It would be great helpful. Thank you. Hello Frank, Hello Adam. Did you install the registry files to enable plain text passwords? The files reside in the docs directory of the samba distribution and are called Win9x_PlainPassword.reg. Hope it helps. Bye, Levy. Frank Oh wrote:> I just started learning about Samba and I am having exactly same problem > that you encounter with IPC$ thing.
