I'm looking for 3 or four people running Linux and FreeBSD (or BSDI) to test a patch for the "interfaces =" code. This patch eliminates interfaces addresses, using interface names instead. The point (if there is one, you may ask) is to simplify moving hosts around, changing addresses, and to eliminate the possibility of the wrong address being typed in. If you are willing to test the patch, please drop me an email and I will tell you how to get it. Thanks, -Philip
Yes I want to test it. However, I would like to specify _both_ interface names and networks, so I'd can broadcast networks and hosts not directly attached to server. Cheers, Fat Brother. Fatal Error: Couldn't enter Windows, use Doors.
