[Bug 2357] New: error when compiling rsync under Windows Services for Unix
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2357
Summary: error when compiling rsync under Windows Services for
                    Unix
           Product: rsync
           Version: 2.6.4
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: NEW
          Severity: minor
          Priority: P3
         Component: core
        AssignedTo: wayned@samba.org
        ReportedBy: happyspaceinvader@btopenworld.com
         QAContact: rsync-qa@samba.org
Error: "undefined reference to `_makedev'" occurs when compiling
under Windows
Services for Unix 3.5.
To remedy, simply edit flist.c and change every occurrence of 'makedev'
to
'mkdev'. Once you run make again, it compiles fine and runs on Windows
with no
problems (so far).
