Am I correct in thinking that rsync does not currently support ACLs on Linux? I see that there have been occasional efforts to patch rsync to support ACLs. Can anyone recommend a particular patch? Thanks in advance. -- Ben Rosengart (212) 741-4400 x215 To accuse others for one's own misfortunes is a sign of want of education. To accuse oneself shows that one's education has begun. To accuse neither oneself nor others shows that one's education is complete. -- Epictetus

Can anyone recommend a particular patch? There is a patch checked into the patches dir named acl.diff that applies to the CVS source. I'd recommend trying that (though I haven't tried it out personally because I don't run a system that uses ACLs). ..wayne..
