you mean that after a week or so your xen host is not reachable anymore? or do
you "just" have the problem, that you need to press the power button
for some
seconds to really turn your machine off, after shutting it down?
If your machine stops working normaly after one or two weeks, then please give
us some more information. which debian version are you using? Which (exact)
xen version are you using. What cpu/board/chipset are you using? how much ram
is available for dom0 (dom0-min-mem value from /etc/xen/xend-config.sxp). Are
you using pae or plain 32bit xen or maybe even 64bit? (the output of xm info
could be helpful).
If possible, please also attach a serial cable to your xen hosts and enable
the corresponding boot parameters to enable the serial output for the
xen-hypervisor & dom0. By doing this you might be able to see the actual
reason for your problems. If the hypervisor or dom0 crashes, it should be
possible to get a dump via serial then.
