[Nut-upsuser] FSP UPS not listed as supported, but seems to work... at least a little...
Hi! Using this guide: http://blog.shadypixel.com/monitoring-a-ups-with-nut-on-debian-or-ubuntu-linux/ and systematically testing the usb capable driver on your site I managed to get my FSP EP650 (by http://www.fspgroupusa.com/ ) working (after reboot). Im running Ubuntu 9.10 desktop x64 standard install. This is the output from running "upsc ups1" ----- battery.voltage: 13.50 battery.voltage.nominal: 12.0 beeper.status: enabled driver.name: blazer_usb driver.parameter.pollinterval: 2 driver.parameter.port: auto driver.version: 2.4.1 driver.version.internal: 0.03 input.current.nominal: 2.0 input.frequency: 50.1 input.frequency.nominal: 50 input.voltage: 235.1 input.voltage.fault: 235.1 input.voltage.nominal: 220 output.voltage: 235.1 ups.delay.shutdown: 30 ups.delay.start: 180 ups.load: 14 ups.productid: 5161 ups.status: OL ups.type: offline / line interactive ups.vendorid: 0665 ----- Question: Should there not be more entries, for example battery time or similar? Anyway, if the above looks right, you can add the FSP brand EP 650 to your list of supported UPSes. regards, Jim

Citeren Jim Wilenius <boll op booru.net>:> Question: Should there not be more entries, for example battery time > or similar? No. The reason why is mentioned in 'man 8 blazer', which also tells you what you can do about this.> Anyway, if the above looks right, you can add the FSP brand EP 650 > to your list of supported UPSes.I will do that, thanks for reporting this.
