*This message was transferred with a trial version of CommuniGate(tm) Pro* Randal, I recently had the same problems with my X101P. Make sure in your zapata.conf file you have: busydetect=yes busycount=5 I have a feeling you might be missing these two lines from your config. Hope this helps. Dear Jamie, Thanks for the reply! It fixed my problems. Thanks alot! One more questions, where I can get the whole list of variables that we can configure in the zapata.conf file. I have search around www.digium.com and www.asterisk.org web site still cannot find it! [Asterisk-Users] G.729 codecs not allowing * as deamon ?
When we have the G.729 codec (ordered from digium) active in * we have the following problem: running * in standard deamon mode: asterisk starts * and then when done loading it ends. when loading * in console mode: asterisk -c it runs just fine. also running *: asterisk -v makes it run properly. When we disable G.729 from the modules it just runs fine again in standard demon mode. Is this a bug or is it this way on purpose. If so, why ? Greetings, Tj -- Tjardick van der Kraan tjardick@vanderkraan.net
Very weird problem, got a channelized T1 with SBC. There is a toll free number that points to a local number on that T, when the local number is called, * recognizes dtmf tones, when the toll free number is called, * does not pick up dtmf.. any thoughts? lizardbox

[Asterisk-Users] G.729 codecs not allowing * as deamon ?
Try running asterisk like this: screen -d -m asterisk -vvvc or screen -d -m asterisk -c or screen -d -m asterisk -f Martin On Thu, 29 May 2003, Tjardick van der Kraan wrote:> When we have the G.729 codec (ordered from digium) active in * we have the > following problem: > > running * in standard deamon mode: > > asterisk > > starts * and then when done loading it ends. > > when loading * in console mode: > > asterisk -c > > it runs just fine. > > also running *: > > asterisk -v > > makes it run properly.
