wine users - May 2006 - sound configuration

Hello,

I have problem with wine configuration. After installing and running winecfg
the message occured that there was no entry in the registry describing sound
driver and default OSS driver was choosen. After running wine I obtained
message from alsa driver about problems with extended reading. My program
tryes to get samples from connected microphone.

A windows program or a linux program?

Wine version?

This problem is connected with alsa driver. "extended read is not
supported"
occures while SNDRV_TIMER_IOCTL_TREAD is used.
