asterisk users - Jun 2007 - Weird sip registration problem

Has anyone seen this before? These phones are behind an edgewater.

This phone is correctly in sip.conf and registered for over a year until 
today, every single phone behind two different edgewaters have this issue.

The user in this situation set their Edgewater proxies to use address 
aliases but didn't bother to configure the parameters, therefore it sent 
out 0.0.0.0.
