wine users - Mar 2007 - What I can do to run starcraft correctly?

After I installed it in wine, I go to the directory and run it with "wine
starcraft.exe"

But some error occur. Direct Draw Error happens! It says that "Starcraft
was unable to initialize your video card using DirectX"

Any advice?

Hmmm ... just tested it for me. Works with wine-0.9.28. What wine
version are you using? If not latest, try it. Are you running starcraft
in a window (Desktop mode in winecfg?) Need more information...
