Hello! I'm trying to install a Windows application called Macro Express, wich automatizes a lot of process with recorded macros. The macros are called by pressing Hotkeys combinations like Control+1 or Control+2 etc. Then, the macro sends keys to applications. I have installed the program on kubuntu and Wine 0.9.30. The problems are that it only regonizes Hotkeys when Macro Express window is active and it only sends keystrokes to wine programs. Is there a way to make a bridge between wine programs and X "keys" events? Thanks and best regards! Ronaldo Richieri Brazil -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... It's a bit undocumented though. http://revu.tauware.de/details.py?upid=4425 Contains the latest version http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=2255242 There's a "manual" I wrote some time ago. Please note that you may or may not have the socket++ in your APT Hope it will help you out. Also, you need xbindkeys. Here is my config: bluecommand@thunder:~$ cat .xbindkeysrc "winekeyctrl V down" Caps_Lock "winekeyctrl V up" release+Caps_Lock winekeyd also needs to be started. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFF8HqHIGp7m0mdQiMRAgG1AKCGKyAfnMBPglkBpAC5Fu65D9D3QwCggdCH UMxiZXtIa2v7yMXjZWfEcD0=tQK+ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- On 3/8/07, Ronaldo Richieri <richieri@gmail.com> wrote:> Hello! > > I'm trying to install a Windows application called Macro Express, wich > automatizes a lot of process with recorded macros. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 That's indeed very wierd. You said you compiled it? That "Shouldn't happen (TM)".. All I can think of would be binfmt but then it should't be able to detect EXE.
