asterisk users - Mar 2006 - news-reading question

Is there some way I can follow this list from a newsgroup??  
Is this the same as the gmane group gmane.comp.telephony.pbx.asterisk.user ??

Yes, that news group follows this mailing list. They head some problem in past
few days. Now it's working.
