[Asterisk-Users] HowTo test asterisk in internal network?
Hello! I set up asterisk and its running well. Now i would like to call asterisk and just mess around with the dial plans a little, like described here:http://www.asteriskdocs.org/modules/tinycontent/content/docbook/current/docs-html/c469.html But how do i connect to asterisk in the first place. Can i connect to it with KPhone and the SIP protocol? Do i just try to connect to the asterisk ip? And how do i tell asterix to use the sip protocol? A "grep -i sip" didnt show me anything wich would be intresting regarding the protocol. With KPhone: sip:user@10.10.2.221 tcpdump output: ----------------------- 6:55:57.472794 IP host1.intra.example.net.5060 > 10.10.2.221.5060: UDP, length 58016:55:57.472816 IP 10.10.2.221 > host1.intra.example.net: icmp 556: 10.10.2.221 udp port 5060 unreachable16:55:58.474631 IP host1.intra.example.net.5060 > 10.10.2.221.5060: UDP, length 58016:55:58.474645 IP 10.10.2.221 > host1.intra.example.net: icmp 556: 10.10.2.221 udp port 5060 unreachable16:56:00.476426 IP host1.intra.example.net.5060 > 10.10.2.221.5060: UDP, length 580 Which makes sense. The question now is, how do i make asterisk accept the sip protocol. Thanks, Mario
dump tcpdump and bring out google. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=asterisk+sip+configuration Returns three good matches in the first four results.
