[Asterisk-Users] Registering a Grandstream Budgetone with Asterisk from Home
Hello guys, I ask you to share your experience with your BudgeTone 100.... I have my asterisk @ work and I've bought a GrandStream BudgeTone (SIP phone) and I usually use X-Lite I have plugged my BudgeTone into my home network because I want to be called even at home. I succeed to register my X-Lite with Asterisk from home but I can't do that with my BudgeTone. (I don't know what exactly fill in the configuration web server). Each information will be usefull Thank you in advance Ignace

I currently have this working my Asterisk server is behind my SmoothWall Router on the DMZ (Orange Network) The Grandstream is at a friends house behind a nat router. In sip.conf i have the follow for the GS: [phone5] type=friend incominglimit=1 ;username=blah ;secret=blah auth=md5 nat=yes host=dynamic reinvite=no canreinvite=no qualify=1000 dtmfmode=INFO disallow=all allow=ulaw allow=alaw mailbox=5005 callerid="Friends Name" <3045551212> and for the GS Web Config: I have attched it to this message just replace wvasterisk.no-ip.com with your asterisk server address William C. William, I noticed that you used No-ip.com to handle your redirects but the attachment didn't have info on this, as I also use no-ip.com can you explain in a little greater detail?
