how to add the location debug info for each instruction
Hello, For some reason, I have to stick on llvm 3.3 for a language compiler, I find that the location debug info is attached to each instruction using !dbg, however, I found some of that information is mis-attched and need to be changed, so I want to *know what functions(I checked all funcs in DIBuilder.h but didn't find a appropriate one) are used to attach those !dbg nodes to each instruction ?* It would be even better if you can points to the places that clang uses to create those nodes. Thanks !...

[PATCH] fix compile in MSVC if UNICODE is defined (SF bug 447)
Erik de Castro Lopo wrote: > This fix probably warrants a new release, but I'll hold off for a > week or so to make sure nothing else needs fixing. Speaking of which... the attched patch fixes building when UNICODE preprocessor macro is defined (it's explained here: <http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3298569/difference-between-mbcs-and-utf-8-on-windows>). It should fix this - <https://sourceforge.net/p/flac/bugs/447/> Not a big problem though. I'm no...

Xen 4.0.1, tap vs tap2, blktap2 documentation, and gentoo-xen-kernel problem
...de.com/files/xen-patches-2.6.34-4.tar.bz2, and one of the things that I noticed immediately is there are two problems with tapdisk and this combination. First, the syntax "disk = [''tap:tapdisk:aio: ..." no longer works. When tested with HVM domU, it boots, but there was no disk attched (and /sys/class/blktap2/devices stays empty). Changing it to tap2:tapdisk:aio works (sort of). I recall some discussion about tap vs tap2 compatibility on this list earlier, but no final conclusion. Shouldn''t newer versions be backward compatible? Existing tap:aio and tap:tapdisk:aio sho...

Confused setting up a "Virtual Server Hosting" config

I also tried using macvtap, and since I have only one guest was expecting to be able to just use the host IP but it looks l...

PDC migration: printing trouble.
Hi all, we've been moving an old Samba 2.2.x PDC install to a Samba 3.0.28 PDC install. We copied the ntdrivers.tdb and ntprinters.tdb from to old to the new server. After the migration, everything was just fine, except printing seemed to be somewhat slower. As more and more user logged on, the machine got really sluggish and printing took quite long. We figured out we've got bitten

32 bit support
Hi good people, I've got a bit of a weird issue. I'm using QEMU emulator version 2.11.1(Debian 1:2.11+dfsg-1ubuntu7.19) And after some considerable time of not using it for 32bit installations I now find that it can no longer install some older 32 bit installations (e.g. https://phillw.net/isos/lubuntu/natty/ ) The CPU goes to 100% and then after a while it just stops (I'm using

Mapping physical interface to a container
In the "other" LXC project (linuxcontainers.org), you can map a host's physical ethernet interface to a container, e.g. lxc.network.type = phys lxc.network.flags = up lxc.network.link = eth1 lxc.network.name = eth1 Is there an equivalent option for doing this with libvirt lxc? Peter
