(?) Maybe IRIX has something similar (or similarly named). Defining BROKEN_LIBIAF at build time (eg "./configure --with-cflags=-DBROKEN_LIBIAF") will probably get your build going. thanks for the hints. i got it done by hardcoding the solution you mentioned. not nice but worked. maybe the check for the libiaf should be refined.
