Please give more details what *exactly* happened. syslinux doesn't overwrite
any bios,
if this happened this seems to be more a hardware problem on your side. Also
this
hasn't been reported before. So if it's some problem with the bios
please complain to
your hardware/bios vendor.
BTW: Do you use the syslinux from fedora or the one downloaded from zytor.com?
