Quick update;

 George has been very helpful, and there is progress with my zpool.
I''ve got partial read ability at this point, and some data is being
copied off.



It was _way_ beyond my skillset to do anything.



Once we have things resolved to a better level, I''ll post more details
(with a lot of help from George I''d say).
