zfs discuss - Apr 2006 - zfs panic troubles

During a download from internet , my machine suddenly rebooted.
No problem i think, but during the reboot it gives a zfs crash, and starts a
reboot again..

I went into single user mode and deleted the /etc/zfs/zpool.cache file
As soon as i try to import the "pool" it gives me a dump and reboots.
I found this in the /var/adm/messages, this is also the same text i get on my

I am running the latest bu bits (b-38)..
What can i do to fix this?

It would appear that a piece of critical metadata has been corrupted due
to hardware failure.  Is this on a replicated (ie. mirror or raidz)
pool?  It is a bug that this causes a panic, rather than "just" data
unavailability:

6393634 while syncing, some read i/o errors are not handled

The only way to fix this is to destroy your pool and restore your data
from a backup.
