zfs discuss - Apr 2006 - ZFS not accounted in kstat->cpu/vm/*->fspg*?

Hi,

when I access my ZFS, I am unable to observe any changes concerning the fspgin
and fspgout values in kstat. Is there any specific reason why ZFS is not
accounted in these variables. Ufs and tmpfs (only when pushed to/from a
swapfile/device) both seem to be working fine.

This is expected since ZFS does not use the paging system
the same way as traditional FS do. What conclusions could
you draw looking at those stats, it would be interesting to
see if there is an alternative way to do the same thing.
