zfs crypto discuss - Sep 2006 - random number generator in Solaris kernel

Is there any a simple kernel function that could return a random number (pseudo
random number) with a seed as the input? Thanks

I suggest looking into the functionality pointed to by

/usr/include/sys/random.h

and poking through the source which provides that using OpenGrok.
