This is a stable release to the aiptek driver, one of the legacy drivers. For shutting down the driver, the previous release(s) relied on heap memory values staying the same after a free(3) call. If such optimism is inappropriate on your system, you're encouraged to update to this release. Peter Hutterer (6): Don't call DEVICE_OFF in UnInit. Only free the device->common if we actually have a device. Don't pretend successfully opening the device is an error. Don't rely on freed memory to keep values. Remove references to other devices after shutdown. aiptek 1.4.1 git tag: xf86-input-aiptek-1.4.1 http://xorg.freedesktop.org/archive/individual/driver/xf86-input-aiptek-1.4.1.tar.bz2 MD5: 8231f6ce1c477eac653c9deb527fa3cb xf86-input-aiptek-1.4.1.tar.bz2 SHA1: 55ea7d12d3e24fd72eacc966a59262864dce7769 xf86-input-aiptek-1.4.1.tar.bz2 http://xorg.freedesktop.org/archive/individual/driver/xf86-input-aiptek-1.4.1.tar.gz MD5: 6d81a2a44d9ed457229c8250c7f61ff8 xf86-input-aiptek-1.4.1.tar.gz SHA1: 986800092dff30cd5707be368ea2301adf085cb1 xf86-input-aiptek-1.4.1.tar.gz -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
