There are things you can count on - scheduled releases of xkeyboard-config are on the list. One more release is available. A couple of dozen of bugs nailed. Some translations are updated (TP is helpful as usual). The pseudo-model evdev is gone, it is not needed any more. pc105 should be used instead.
