Hi,
I try to pin cpu cores for Domain-0,I use Ubuntu 12.04 ,xen 4.1.5. according
to this article "Tuning Xen for Performance"
1. I change the file "/etc/default/grub":
GRUB_DEFAULT="Xen 4.1-amd64"
#GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT=0
GRUB_HIDDEN_TIMEOUT_QUIET=true
GRUB_TIMEOUT=2
GRUB_DISTRIBUTOR=`lsb_release -i -s 2> /dev/null || echo Debian`
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="dom0_max_vcpus=4 dom0_vcpus_pin"
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX=""
2. and then I run "update-grub" and reboot the system,
3.when the machine startup,I used "xm vcup-list":
root@(none):~# xm vcpu-list
Name ID VCPU CPU State Time(s) CPU Affinity
Domain-0 0 0 7 r-- 14.3 any cpu
Domain-0 0 1 2 -b- 15.9 any cpu
Domain-0 0 2 0 -b- 13.2 any cpu

Domain-0 0 5 4 -b- 7.5 any cpu

"dom0_max_vcpus=4 dom0_vcpus_pin" dosen't work?
and how to do my wants?
