I wonder if any testing is being done with qemu git and seabios git before xen 4.4 is patched. Is anyone compiling qemu git with xen and or seabios git ? Currently i am unable to have functioning xen with seabios git and qemu git I get no video output with hvm. Few weeks ago seabios git stoped working with xen unstable and now qemu git no longer works. Now when I compile xen unstable without enabling qemu git or seabios git I get perfectly working system. I don''t know if there are any benefits to use qemu git anymore in the past that was the only way to get spice support. _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xen.org http://lists.xen.org/xen-users
Need more informations about your dom0 installation, domU xl file configuration and logs (of domU''s qemu, xl dmesg output...) With the very limited information of your posts is almost impossible to find your problem unfortunately. I have done many test builds of the past few weeks with qemu 1.6 or 1.7 from upstream git but I never had the basic support of spice not working. Here for example one of my latest test build with details about dom0 installation: http://lists.xen.org/archives/html/xen-devel/2013-10/msg01111.html -- View this message in context: http://xen.1045712.n5.nabble.com/qemu-git-and-seabios-git-with-xen-unstable-tp5719584p5719586.html Sent from the Xen - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com.

I asked your several followup questions in <1382479167.18283.47.camel@hastur.hellion.org.uk> which you have yet to reply to AFAICS. Ian.

You haven''t posted informations about the dom0 installation (follow for example my post linked on previous message) and domU''s file configuration (/etc/xen/<name>.cfg). These informations are essentials for reproduce a uncommon bug. About logs can be useful also add "loglvl=all guest_loglvl=all" to hypervisor (xen.gz) line on bootloader of dom0. Hypervisor logs are on output of "xl dmesg" command and domU''s log are /var/log/xen/xl-<name>.log and /var/log/xen/qemu-dm-<name>.log _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xen.org http://lists.xen.org/xen-users
