I''m using XenCenter to connect to Xen and it reports me that tools
aren''t
installed, and they are needed for monitoring cpu, ram, etc. and maybe for 
other functionality

Then I''m afraid you must be using XenServer or XCP and not the standard
Xen tools, because XenCenter cannot speak to the latter.

Which takes me back to my earlier advice to consult either the forums or
the xenserver.org lists.
