Hello, I realized my problem should be "xen Domain0 cannot boot". Because I reinstalled a single Ubuntu12.04 with Xen 4.1.2, it still cannot boot on this server. The OS (with xen) itself is good, because I duplicated and run it well on several other servers(other type than the 'IBM X346'server with problem). Problem is after I choose "Xen-4.1-amd64" and any following linux kernel(like 3.2.0-39), when it loads to [time]"Domain0 has * vcpu", then it will output many: [time]Stack [time]Call Trace. ac 00 de ... (The output flashs too quickly, I cannot really catch.) Does IBM x346 needs particular setting for Xen? Could anyone give me some suggestions? We are using different versions of Xen on different version of ubuntu. Originally the Domain0 on server is Ubuntu12.10 with Xen 4.1.3, on partition 1. I installed another OS image of Ubuntu 12.04 with Xen 4.1.2, on another partition 2. After I reboot, in the Grub, there is only one Xen 4.1, enter it comes 4 options for 2 types of Linux kernal versions: (1)Linux 3.2.0-39 (2)Linux 3.2.0-39(recovery) (3)Linux 3.2.0-23 (4)Linux 3.2.0-23(recovery) But when I choose any of them, the system cannot be load, and restart again. I would like to know, is it possible to have two Xen OSs separately on one server, and we can choose one on boot? I think it should not be confilict since they are not running at same time.
