[Xen-users] Exporting block devices without restarting domains
I''m trying to export a new LVM LV to a domU without rebooting it. I did: $ xm vbd-create 7 phy:mainvg/data sda3 w in dom0, which immediately returned to the prompt. In domU: $ sudo mount -t ext3 /dev/sda3 /mnt/data/ mount: /dev/sda3 is not a valid block device any ideas? Am I missing something? _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users

RE: [Xen-users] Exporting block devices without restarting domains
You need to be using 2.0-testing or unstable. 2.0.6 should be released in a few days.
