Does the current release of Xenclient XT support vtpms under Win7 or pass through TPM access from domU to the hardware TPM? Thanks, Pete

If you''re interested in this feature of a commercial product I think you would have better luck contacting sales / technical support of that product. Please don''t drop the list when replying. And please don''t top-post. On Thu, Aug 01, 2013 at 01:27:34PM -0400, Pete Caro wrote:> Hi Wei, > > Thanks for the response. Any info?Features being worked on here in the Open Source project have no real bearing on when, or indeed if, they will become Supported features of any given commercial product. There are plenty of features in the underlying hypervisor which a particular product does not expose or Support. If you are interested in XenClient XT then you need to be speaking to the XenclientXT folks about this. If you are interested in vtpm under the Open Source releases of Xen then people on this list may be able to help you. Ian.

Thanks for the clarification. So, does the open source version of Xen support vtpms in domUs? If not is that under development or not? Pete

Ian.
Yes, I am sure vTPM is working now in xen 4.3.0. also it needs some enhancement.> -----Original Message----- > From: xen-devel-bounces@lists.xen.org > [mailto:xen-devel-bounces@lists.xen.org] On Behalf Of Ian Campbell > Sent: Friday, August 02, 2013 11:39 PM > To: Pete Caro > Cc: Wei Liu; xen-devel@lists.xen.org > Subject: Re: [Xen-devel] question about vtpm on Xenclient XT > > On Fri, 2013-08-02 at 10:49 -0400, Pete Caro wrote: > > does the open source version of Xen support vtpms in domUs?
