I try to use cdrom in domU linux pv, on Lucid and Natty with ''phy:/dev/scd0,xvdc,r'' see it as internal disk (not cdrom) and only administrators can mount it, i try also ''phy:/dev/scd0,xvdc1,r'' but not work. On Oneiric and Precise (daily build) with ''phy:/dev/scd0,xvdc,r'' see it as cdrom but not automount it, work only manual mount of xvdc; i try also ''phy:/dev/scd0,xvdc1,r'' but not work. Is possible use cdrom on linux domU pv full working where also normal user can mount it without terminal? I do something wrong, or there are still bugs in this regard? The toolstack use now is always xm, and test i write in first message is all
with :cdrom.
I have also one question about xl, probably soon I begin to test xen 4.2
from unstable with toolstack xl, I see on xl configuration link disk format
support raw, qcow, qcow2, vhd with deprecated prefix (tap2...) ignored.
The blktap continue to be used automatically based on format choise and if
not present use "file" or it will not need additional modules?

Someone can help me to add phy cdrom working and correct see as cdrom on ubuntu domUs pv or there is some features missing for to this?
