I made one more small change in patch #2, removing a p2m-lock/unlock pair that you introduced at the top of hvm_hap_nested_page_fault() and making the p2m lookup call into gfn_to_mfn_type_current(). Please can you test that it works for you, and if possible send us a trivial client program that uses the new interfaces.
