[Xen-devel] Creating a PV Domu on CentOS using ISO image
Hi, I am trying to create a PV Centos DomU on CentOS 5.5 (xen 3.4.3). Can anyone provide a pointer how to do the same using an centos.iso file? -- Srujan D. Not sure if you have a reason for specifically CentOS, but Oracle Linux is another RHEL "clone" and you can download a free, already created and tested "Oracle Linux template" running a 5.5 PV kernel that should run fine on xen 3.4.3 here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/vm/enterprise-linux-090498.html From: Srujan D. # chkconfig httpd on
# service httpd start
Virt-install via loop mounted ISO image on /var/www/html/centos5 ( for instance)
NFS should work as well.
