Hi, In our recent experiment, we have found that the TCP communication between two processes on different DomUs(within the same physical machine) performs better than expected. We wonder if the communication does not go through the backend driver in Dom0 at all. It is easy to image, but I am not sure since I have not read the related source code yet. Could anybody make me a confirmation? Thanks! _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
Faster network between dom''s on single host is well known feature. There is no CRC calculation during pure-virtual networking, and no any interrupts from hardware, so it fast. Definitely, there are some internal connections and convenience between the domUs working on the same VMM. Best Regards face Zhuo Song Gif me a visky, ginger ale on the side.
