[Xen-devel] Xen-3.4.0 RC1 Test Report. Xen: #19534 & Xen0: #861
All, To ensure Xen-3.4.0 functioning fine, we''ve finished P1 functional testing with RC1 (c/s 19534); our test covers multiple Intel platforms, and includes such features as VT-x, VT-d, SR-IOV, Power-Management, RAS, NUMA, Flexmigration, as well as basic VMX functionality. 8 new bugs for x86 were found in our RC1 testing; IPF testing is still blocked as VT-i guest cannot be started with Qemu. More tests will be conducted with future RCs. [Xen-devel] RE: Xen-3.4.0 RC1 Test Report. Xen: #19534 & Xen0: #861
Three more bugs were caught on RC1, list them here: 1. Can not create qcow file with command qemu-img-xen http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1452 2. [VT-d][MSI] VT-d NIC with MSI enabled does not work in Linux guest with kernel 2.6.29. http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1443 3. [ACPI] On some x86_64 platform, `echo mem > /sys/power/state` can not trigger Dom0 S3 until using Ctrl^C to terminate the command. http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1453 Li, Haicheng wrote:> All, > > To ensure Xen-3.4.0 functioning fine, we''ve finished P1 functional > testing with RC1 (c/s 19534); our test covers multiple Intel > platforms, and includes such features as VT-x, VT-d, SR-IOV, > Power-Management, RAS, NUMA, Flexmigration, as well as basic VMX > functionality. 8 new bugs for x86 were found in our RC1 testing; IPF > testing is still blocked as VT-i guest cannot be started with Qemu. > More tests will be conducted with future RCs. > > > Status Summary > ===========================================================================> Feature Result > ------------------------------------ --------------------------- > VT-x (Ept+Vpid) Pass > VT-x (Shadow) Bug (1) > VT-d (Dmar+Intr+Qinval) Bug (2) > VT-d (Dmar) Bug (1) > NUMA Bug (1) > PowerMgmt Bug (1) > FlexMigration Pass > SR-IOV Pass > RAS (CPU offline) Pass > PV driver Pass > Others Bug (9) > > Xen Info: > ===========================================================================> xen-changeset: 19534:120d3c67951b > dom0-changeset: 861:366c31f3ab4b > > ioemu git: > commit 2ed2ee1704a4ef956ecc61848c84d12aaa4419d5 > Author: Ian Jackson <ian.jackson@eu.citrix.com> > Date: Fri Apr 3 16:17:22 2009 +0100 > > New Bugs (8): > ====================================================================> 1.
