[Xen-devel] Is there anyway to install to version of Xen on one machine?
hi, I need to compare the difference between two version of Xen but it looks that there is only one fixed place for tools/scripts, so it gets overwritten. Not sure if this is needed for other cases. Thanks, Neo -- I would remember that if researchers were not ambitious probably today we haven''t the technology we are using! _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel

I played with some scripts that would tar up all files that would be overwritten; untarring later would restore all the correct files. I never finished this (or tested it) but it shouldn''t be too hard. IIRC, one issue was /etc/grub.conf.
