Xen devel - May 2008 - MMIO space provided by HVM PCI device - readonly?

Is the MMIO space provided by the HVM PCI device supposed to be
readonly? Under windows when I MmMapIoSpace I get a virtual address, but
cannot write anything. All reads just return zero.
