[Xen-devel] [xen-3.1.3] domain0 fails to boot, hangs waiting for root fs.
Hi All, I have an intel motherboard with ICH9 chipset. And it fails to boot on this motherboard since support for ICH9 is not there. But i was able to boot my previous domain0 which was xen-3.1.0 build by passing pci=nommconf option to dom0 cmdline from grub. there is an endless wait for root fs.It looks like sata disk is not recognized. Did somthing change between 3.1.0 and 3.1.3 release? Or any help on how to fix this? Re: [Xen-devel] [xen-3.1.3] domain0 fails to boot, hangs waiting for root fs.
In your xen-3.1-testing.hg repository (assuming you pulled the mercurial repository?) you can ''hg update RELEASE-3.1.0'' and that will get you a check-out of the sources for the 3.1.0 release. -- Keir On 22/2/08 18:27, "pradeep singh rautela" <rautelap@gmail.com> wrote:> [...] >>> Did somthing change between 3.1.0 and 3.1.3 release? >>> >>> Or any help on how to fix this? >> >> >> You should still be able to boot with your old (3.1.0) dom0 kernel? > > Nice suggestions Keir, but I have deleted it already :(, i mean even > the sources too :''(.
