[Xen-devel] [PATCH] Enable VPID (Virtual Processor Identification)
The patch attached enables the VPID feature. When present, it allows TLB entries to be retained across VM entry and VM exit, and Xen can now identify distinct address spaces through a new virtual-processor ID (VPID) field of the VMCS. It applies to the unstable tree with the patch for EPT applied (i.e. please apply the EPT patch first). arch/x86/hvm/vmx/vmcs.c | 17 ++++++++ arch/x86/hvm/vmx/vmx.c | 82 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++-- include/asm-x86/hvm/domain.h | 1 include/asm-x86/hvm/vmx/vmcs.h | 8 ++++ include/asm-x86/hvm/vmx/vmx.h | 34 +++++++++++++++++ 5 files changed, 138 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) Signed-off-by: Xin Li <xin.b.li@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Jun Nakajima <jun.nakajima@intel.com> Jun --- Intel Open Source Technology Center _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
