Hi,
today i have hg clone XEN 3.0.4 and compile it with
make world and make install
it has been successfully installed
update-rc.d xend defaults 20 21
update-rc.d xendomains defaults 21 20
after making a initrd with mkinitrd.yaird and updating grub it was
booting successfull
but now:
DEBIAN:~# xm
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/sbin/xm", line 8, in ?
from xen.xm import main
File "//usr/lib/python/xen/xm/main.py", line 51, in ?
from xen.util import security
File "//usr/lib/python/xen/util/security.py", line 25, in ?

Python is installed:
Python 2.3.5 with python
Python 2.4.1 with python2.4
do i need python2.5 ?
or where is the error ?

This doesn''t look like Xen problem. Do you have a driver for said printer on domU OS? Many Cannon printers come with drivers for MS Windows only. They sell a stand alone print server that makes their Image Runners visible on a network, but I have no idea if that box will allow any non-MS printing. works fine with Kubuntu, an on Takushi Miyoshi Site are also Debian
Sources given, bevor somebody would say, ubuntu is not debian....
with kubuntu i get an
direct usb://Canon/iP4000
Device, but also a
direct canon:/dev/lp0
and a
direct epson:/dev/lp0
so lpinfo -v .....
But it is the only thing i can try to chance....

I tried all i found, beta drivers frpm canon.jp and the turboprint pack, everytime the same error with usblp.... usb 1-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2 usb 1-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice usblp: probe of 1-2:1.0 failed with error -5 any other idea ?
