Xapian discuss - Sep 2009 - Xapian 1.0.16 released

I've uploaded Xapian 1.0.16 (including Search::Xapian 1.0.16.0), which
as usual you can download from:

http://xapian.org/download

Notable changes in this release:

* The child lock process is cleaned up properly when we fail to get a
  database write lock (we tried to fix this in 1.0.12, but the fix had a
  typo).

* Fixed a build failure on Mac OS X 10.6.

* Fixed a cross-site scripting vulnerability in omega's reporting of
  exceptions (CVE-2009-2947).

This announcement is GPG-signed, so if you can establish a trust chain
to my key, and you verify the checksums, you can be confident that the
tarballs you downloaded are the same as those I uploaded (even if you
get them from a mirror).  If you can't establish a trust chain, you can
still verify the checksums (and also see that the same key is being used
to sign each release).

php4 - I know I know,
but my provider still has php4,
they have licensed a redhat edition 4 which will never get updated as I assume,
and so I have to test it under php4, ...
