Xapian discuss - Dec 2008 - Sorting by relevance and date

Hi all,

I'm struggling to work out whether Xapian can rank results by both relevance
and date, giving extra weight to younger documents.  I found Olly Betts's
(no relation that I'm aware of) post about BiasFunctor [1] but nothing since
2004.  Is there a best practice way of doing this?
