Xapian discuss - Apr 2007 - Indexing Word by word in a Document

At this stage, you have to go word by word and index the terms.  I
have read some where this may be included within Xapain, has this been
implemented and also when is 1.0 will released?

The traditional answer is of course "when it's ready"!  I'm
hoping we
can release it this month, and we're making good progress, but I won't
be turning the release handle just because the calendar says "April
30th".

If you want to help us towards release, you can download snapshot
tarballs of SVN from here:

http://www.oligarchy.co.uk/xapian/trunk/

Just try them out and report any bugs or other issues which aren't
already in the bug tracker.
