Xapian discuss - Jan 2007 - Anyone else getting s *p*a*m from the list?

I've gotten a half dozen in the last week or so.  My spam filter picked
up most of them, but a couple got through.

Do you have to subscribe to send to the list?  If not, perhaps that
would be a good idea.

Perhaps. If the volume doesn't rise, I'd be inclined to keep it open -
it's much less hassle for people looking for help.

There is spam detection running on the Xapian lists, but it's a little
more conservative than desktop spam detection for obvious reasons :-)
