Hi I''ve now done all the things I was planning to do for the 2.0.0 final release - most recently, memory management fixes for Clipboard and Drag/Drop classes. How are we looking - anything else come up that definitely needs attention? Been mainly working on Linux and Mac so any eyes on the Windows build esp welcome. I''ll try out the MSVC build on Friday. alex

The dragdrop sample works fine and does not crash anymore. The new drawing sample (maths_images) is very nice. This contrasts a lot with the bitmap sample ! I''ll try to make this sample more appealing.> How are we looking - anything else come up that definitely needs attention? The test clipboard still crashes. Do you intend to do something on it ? Cheers. Chauk-Mean.

I''m puzzled as to what''s happening (MingW''s awful gdb doesn''t help) but everything seems functionally correct in the sample - can''t make it crash. I committed a couple of corrections so it no longer crashes for me, but there are still FIXMEs, but I think these are wxWidgets questions not wxRuby. Think that''s about as far as I intend to pursue this for now alex

I''ve just committed an improved bitmap/image sample. I left the previous one at the moment but if you agree, I can remove it. Cheers. Chauk-Mean.

What about just replacing the bitmap by a more colourful and a little bigger one (e.g. from the Tango project) ? Cheers. Chauk-Mean.

That will give us a nice encouragement to redesign the logo now... alex
