[Wine] MS Office utilities not opening the selected file
When I double click a file, respective application (say excel, word etc.) opens but it does not open the selected file. I have to open the file again using the "File" menu. What could be the problem? I am using wine version 1.1.23, release 1.fc11 on Fedora

Clicking on powerpoint files works fine, but for excel it works in some directory and does not work in some other directory. Strangely same excel file copied to different directory behaved differently. Same is the case with MS Word. All these directories are in windows partition and in same hierarchy. 2. I am unable to associate a file type (say .xls) with a office application (say Excel). If I associate a .xls file to excel, even .ppt and .doc will also invoke excel application
