Hi

I just installed wine on Ubuntu 8.04 from wine repos and hence have version
1.1.23.

After installing, I run:

Code:
winecfg



and had the following message:
> wineboot has encountered a serious problem and needs to close

However, I'm still able to access to the settings of winecfg. So I don't
know:
-why is there a problem with winecfg and how to remedy?
-wether this problem is actually of big concern? I was able to run explorer.exe
for example...

What video card and driver version?

seems there is small actualisation problem, I had previously edited original
message and added terminal output... isnt'it printed? I put it below.

I found a similar problem in bug  433641 :

Should I try to change the drivers? Any other clue what this means? Thanks!

Ok, I made some small tests changing driver from intel to vesa. The problem
actually is that I'm not able to reproduce first "bug" that I had
just when I opened winecfg. I don't even know whether this is a serious
issue, and how I can reproduce it.

To compensate that, I installed wine on two other machine:
ubuntu 9.04 with ATI card
ubuntu 8.04 with nvidia card

and this proble did not occur on both machines when I run winecfg the first
time..
