wine users - Apr 2009 - How to deal with the message: winedevice.exe has encountered a serious problem

Since recent update I am getting this error:

Program Error
The program winedevice.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs 
to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I realize that I probably have some malfunctioning device driver.

How to fix this? How to remove the driver?
