Thanks for your comment, Using the instructions in: http://www.linux.com/howtos/Hebrew-HOWTO-5.shtml and then: wine notepad And switch keyboard to Hebrew on the desktop (KDE) no type on notepad window. I just sorted a problem on real windows where the customer was switching between English, Russian and Ukrainian keyboards on a character by character basis. I switch between a US keyboard (peculiar Englishman who prefers it) and a UK keyboard when I need a ? sign. Geoff Streeter
