wine users - Jun 2006 - Wine message re glx - what can I do about it?

I am getting the following message from the stripsaver2 install and wondered
if this affects other programs with graphics:


wine: creating configuration directory '/home/dave/.wine'...
err:wgl:wgl_initialize_glx  glx_version as 1.2 and GLX_SGIX_fbconfig
extension is unsupported. Expect problems.

Is this end-user fixable, like by updating a glx library or something?

It affects anything that uses OpenGL or Direct3D in that it will not
work.

In theory, yes. It would however require to update the X server or the
graphics driver or to use a different graphics card.
