wine users - Jun 2005 - Gauild Wars - or how do I fake a directx installation?

Hello everyone,

I tried to get Guild Wars running in wine. The game complains that it
cannot find directx 8. So, Is there any way to fake the existence of
directx so that it even tries to run in wine?
